About me

Holly Henson is a singer and actor originally from Paragould, Arkansas. She began performing at the age of 10 when she received her first role in a local production of Charlotte’s Web. Since then, she hasn’t stopped performing. She has been fortunate enough to go to school for what she loves and received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Arkansas State University in August of 2023. While there, she studied voice with Dr. Marika Kyriakos, and performed several roles including La Fée in Cendrillon, Madame Herz in The Impresario, Sally in A Hand of Bridge, Cinderella in Into The Woods, Olympia in scenes from The Tales of Hoffman, and Adele in scenes from Die Fledermaus. After graduating, Holly began attending the University of Memphis in pursuit of the Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance. She currently studies with Professor Mary Wilson. Since starting at the University of Memphis, she has performed as Rapunzel in Into the Woods with the Link Theatre company where she got to sing and act alongside Broadway professionals such as Jenny Powers, Joe Langworth and Kevin Clay. She also recently sang the women’s chorus in Holst’s The Planets with the Delta Symphony Orchestra. Holly currently serves as the Soprano section leader for the First United Methodist Chancel choir in Jonesboro, AR as well as teaches private voice at the Jonesboro Music studio.
